NICKY COELHO
(Dancer, 2nd season), Nicky began dancing at age five with her mother, Sally Hart, in Afton, VA. She also studied with the Virginia School of the Arts, Dance Theater of Lynchburg under the directorship of Keith Lee, Maryland Youth Ballet, and on scholarship at Joffrey Ballet’s summer intensive in New York for five years. She has danced and toured with Charleston Ballet Theater, Robert Ivey Ballet, and Mikerline Haitian Folkloric Dance Company in New York. Further studies include Capoeira, Salsa, Afro-Cuban dance, and most recently hoop dancing. Nicky teaches in the Twin Cities and has choreographed several full length ballets and original contemporary works.
